Brian King is President and Chairman of the Board of Retail First Corporation. Brian began his career in 1990 with Store Image in Brantford, Ontario. As U.S. Sales Manager, he led strategy, design, product solutions, project management, production, logistics and warehousing for retailers including Sears, Target, Walmart, Afterthoughts. A&P, Dominicks, Foot Locker, Canadian Tire and others.

In 1997, Brian joined Chicago Display Marketing, a full-service company that specialized in custom point-of-purchase displays, store fixtures and retail graphics. His clients there included Nabisco, General Motors, Kellogg's, AT&T, AAFES, and Budweiser.

King's tenure with both companies provided him with a well-rounded approach to developing smart, effective retail solutions, and enhancing the consumer shopping experience. In 2000, King leveraged his expertise and outstanding client relationships to form The King Group. Brian has manufactured quality retail store fixtures and display systems for some of the country's largest retailers and manufacturers including Walgreens, True Value, Pfizer, Sara Lee, Office Max and various advertising agencies.

In 2009, Retail First Corporation was formed to incorporate branding, marketing and visual merchandising capabilities into the service mix and provide a "one-stop shop" for the retailer or manufacturer.

Brian supports the Children's Miracle Network (CMN) through the Ace Hardware Foundation. The CMN helps children by actively supporting improved health care for millions of young people around the world.

David Plier is the Chief Executive Officer of Retail First Corporation. Plier is a nationally recognized leader in branding, promotion, in-store marketing and retail store design with more than twenty-five years experience in marketing and advertising. Working closely with retail customers, David has been rewarded with "frontline" insight into consumer behavior and buying preferences–and leveraged this knowledge to benefit his clients. This experience fostered a unique perspective and pragmatic viewpoint invoke a forward-thinking approach to merchandising and product sell-through to deliver results.

David has executed successful marketing programs for national retailers: JCPenney, Office Max, Diageo, Party City, Best Buy, Ace Hardware, Ulta, Sears, and Big Lots. Regional retailers include Howell Furniture, Conlins Furniture, Turk Furniture, Suburban Furniture, Walter E. Smithe, Mattress Today, Just Cabinets and Advantage Kitchen & Bath.

Previously, Plier joined Marks Plier (formerly Marks Advertising and Marks & Whetstone) in 2001 as Vice President of Marketing & Operations, later promoted to Executive Vice President and later appointed Chief Executive Officer in 2005. Plier joined Montgomery Ward & Company in 1995 as Director of In-Store Marketing for the multi-billion dollar retailer. In 1992, he joined TransWorld Entertainment in NY, as Director of Visual Merchandising & Marketing for the 1,000-store music, movie, game and book chain. In 1984, David joined the Musicland Group in Chicago and later, Minneapolis where he began his career in retail marketing.

A respected television historian, David was elected to the Board of Directors of the Chicago-based Museum of Broadcast Communication (MBC) in 2003 and to its Executive Board two years later, as well as Board Secretary. David is also a member of the National Radio Hall of Fame Steering Committee and the Chicago/Midwest branch of the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences. Plier also lectures on the subject of television advertising at Marquette University.
